Why They Give: Joe and Laura (Ramsdell) Parrillo ’99

Joe and Laura Parrillo knew early on they wanted to stay involved in Assumption throughout their lives. The two met as orientation leaders, graduated together in 1999, and wed at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit years later. Assumption has significantly affected the foundation of their lives.

Christina Graziano ’10 Endows Scholarship to Support Future Assumption Students

Christina Graziano credits her liberal arts education for making her a “lawyer dedicated to preserving the rights and civil liberties of [her] peers.” After her graduation from Assumption, she went to Suffolk University’s School of Law and then joined an international law firm in Washington D.C., serving as an attorney.

Raymond J. Legac ’65 credits Assumption with spurring a lifetime love of learning. He recognizes his professors – particularly George Doyle, Ph.D., HD’92, and Fr. Georges Bissonnette, A.A., ’43, HD’79 –for inspiring his passion as a social studies teacher in the New York City public school system.
