The Women’s Swimming and Diving Team consistently places at the top of the NE-10 rankings, winning three conference championships. Their wins are not just confined to the pool but they regularly partake in community service, in line with Assumption’s commitment to service and social justice that benefits the great good.
The Assumption Department of Athletics has announced its 2018 Hall of Fame class. This year’s inductees include Larry Bornheimer ’89 (Basketball), Karen Doucette ’85 (Basketball/Softball), Paul Duquette ’81 (Men’s Lacrosse), Bill Hodge ’91 (Men’s Soccer), Stephanie (Fleming) Montessi ’02 (Field Hockey), and Lauren Raswyck ’08 (Volleyball).
Marcoux assumed her new position and is honored to share her commitment to excellence athletically, academically, and in the community with the student-athletes and Assumption staff. Marcoux’s vision for Assumption athletics is to build on the institution’s recent successes and become a perennial contender in the NE10 and the NCAA.
In February of 2018, Andy McKenzie was named the 10th head coach of the Assumption Football team, bringing with him more than 20 years of collegiate coaching and playing experience. McKenzie most recently coached at The College of the Holy Cross from 2008 to 2015.
