Marcoux’s vision for Assumption athletics is to build on the institution’s recent successes and become a perennial contender in the NE10 and the NCAA.

Andy McKenzie Hired as Assumption Football Head Coach

In February of 2018, Andy McKenzie was named the 10th head coach of the Assumption Football team, bringing with him more than 20 years of collegiate coaching and playing experience. McKenzie most recently coached at The College of the Holy Cross from 2008 to 2015.

Former Assumption Football Players Turn Pro, Another to Play for Division I LSU

Carolina Panthers tight end Scott Simonson of Red Bank, NJ, was the first former Greyhound to play in the National Football League (NFL). Meanwhile, Zach Triner ’14 has been signed to an NFL practice squad and Cole Tracy ’18 is headed to Division 1 LSU.

Winter 2018 Sports Highlights

Assumption’s winter sports teams collected impressive records during their seasons, including Men’s Ice Hockey, which amassed one of the best seasons in recent memory, and Women’s Swimming & Diving, who placed second in the NE10 Championships.
